Medicare Part D

Homeschool Education Class

Mississippi River State Park will host the final class of their homeschool education class program. The class is scheduled for Thursday, December 8, at 10:00 a.m. This class is set up to cover the nature and history of Crowley's Ridge, the St. Francis River and the Mississippi River.  There is no fee but pre-registration is required. On Saturday, December 10, they will be open from 10:00-3:00, and then on December 8-9, they will be open from 2:00-5:00. The Forrest City School District Choral Program will present its 2016 Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 13, at 6 p.m. in the auditorium at Forrest City Junior High School. The concert will feature performances by the junior high choir and the high school's Mustang choir, concert choir and Der Singkreis. Admission to the concert is $1 or one non-perishable food item. All proceeds will benefit the St. Francis County Food Pantry.

3rd Annual Christmas Forrest

Mississippi River State Park will sponsor their 3rd Annual Christmas Forrest. Businesses, Organizations and others are invited to sponsor a tree and decorate it. The put up date will be Saturday, December 24, and they will be open for public viewing from December 28 through January 2, along the Trotting Fox Trail behind the Visitors Center. A six- to nine-foot tree is $70, plus tax, for a new sponsor and $60, plus tax, for a returning sponsor. They will also have Charlie Brown trees for $35, plus tax, for a new sponsor and $25, plus tax, for a returning sponsor. For more information call 870-295-4040.
